Music Services with Sophistication

It's not uncommon that on a given weekend, the Caramellos begin their Saturday in a church, private function or even cemetery… Perhaps Marissa is offering a vocal tribute at a graveside memorial service in Exeter while Christopher is performing background music at a private event. In the afternoon the two later reconvene for a wedding in another local parish followed by one of their four weekend masses at Saint Rocco Church… In between their Sunday Masses, they can be found meeting with couples for prospective weddings and families preparing for upcoming funeral masses.
Their lives are immersed in music that serves—
service that honors, comforts, uplifts, and celebrates.
Christopher A. Caramello
Pianist & Organist
Christopher A. Caramello is a highly sought-after pianist and organist for both civil and religious weddings, serving clients of all faith traditions throughout Rhode Island and beyond. In addition to his work with couples and parishes, he is regularly called upon as a substitute musician for churches across the Diocese of Providence and serves as the on-call pianist and organist for several funeral homes throughout the state, offering comfort and reverence through music at life’s most solemn occasions.

A versatile and expressive performer, Christopher draws inspiration from a range of musical innovators who shaped his interpretive style and artistic philosophy. As a pianist and organist, notable influences include David Foster, Liberace, and the late C. Alexander Peloquin (former Music Director of the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul in Providence)—each of whom, in their respective genres, challenged traditional norms through musical risk-taking and refined improvisation. Foster’s sweeping orchestrations, Liberace’s theatrical spontaneity, and Peloquin’s liturgical originality have collectively informed Christopher’s approach to piano and organ performance. He often incorporates unique improvisational flourishes and harmonic expansions into his accompaniments, enhancing both sacred and secular settings with distinctive musical color.

As a liturgical musician, Christopher’s spiritual and artistic foundations are also rooted in the legacy of Flor Peeters, the renowned Belgian composer and organist. Christopher is an advocate for the preservation of the Roman Catholic Church’s sacred music heritage, regularly incorporating Gregorian chant, Renaissance polyphony, and historically significant choral and organ works into his programs. In his role as Director of Music at Saint Rocco Church in Johnston, RI, he leads four weekend Masses and oversees a music department dedicated to enriching the liturgies.

Marissa R. Caramello
Soprano Soloist
Marissa Caramello is an accomplished soprano and classically trained opera singer who is frequently called upon as a guest soloist for weddings, funerals, and other sacred occasions throughout the region. Her vocal abilities were recognized early in her career when she was granted on-the-spot admission to Anna Maria College following her audition.

As a vocalist, Marissa is both versatile and deeply expressive. Her repertoire includes Gregorian chant, traditional hymnody, sacred arias, and contemporary liturgical selections, making her well-equipped to serve a wide variety of musical settings. Her ability to move gracefully between historic anthems and the modern standards found in today’s Catholic hymnals has made her sought-after among clergy, music directors, and families planning significant life events. She brings not only vocal excellence to her performances, but also a calm and reassuring presence—essential qualities in both joyful and solemn moments.

Marissa previously led a successful and respected private vocal studio, mentoring aspiring singers and future educators. While she has since pursued a professional career in the medical field, she continues to perform actively, bringing warmth and artistry to every setting in which she sings.
